Wands are equiped to the main-hand and cannot be dual-wielded (however a shield or Focus item can still be held in the off-hand).

Wands contain a single specific fast-cast spell and cast it when activated. All wands cast spells from the Learned List of spells.

In order to use a wand, you must know the spell being cast (or suffer a 50% chance of failure). Wands are free to use but have a limited number of "charges" and must be recharged at sacred springs.
