Spell Trees are essentially spells that characters gain access to through a tree-system associated with a specific proficiency. Not all proficiencies have spell-trees. Spell trees are designed to give the player a higher-degree of customization and focus to their character.

Not everything on the spell tree is in fact a spell, some branches merely unlock passive abilities that improve the power of different spells(such as a branch on the Magefire tree that powers up all Negative spells.

Using Trees

Each tier on a tree requires points to advance equal to the number of the tier. So, Tier 1 requires 1 point, tier 2 requires 2, etc.

As the name implies, trees branch off at various tiers. Accessing a branch will first require that another tier be reached.

Characters gain 1 point for each tree at each level.

Spell Trees By Proficiency

The MRPG Battling Sorcerer and MRPG Endo-Mage have access to the Dark Magefire tree.

The MRPG Endo-Mage, MRPG Paladin, and MRPG Auramancer have some sort of cool life-based tree.

The MRPG Paladin and MRPG Endo-Mage have Light Magefire tree.

Exo-Mage

The Exo-Mage gains the bulk of their spells through a tree-system complex enough to earn it's own page: MRPG Exo-Mage Spell List

They will also have a series of token non-tree spells that must be learned from scrolls or tomes.
